I launched Regenerative Business Development, in 2018, after returning to New Zealand from Germany. I started by consulting to businesses in both Germany and New Zealand and have since worked with a wide range of organisations, including supporting the University of Canterbury in establishing Transition Engineering and Energy Transition courses. I believe in the power of collaboration and long-term relationships—whether with customers, suppliers, or staff. As sustainability becomes an ever-greater risk to businesses, I integrate climate change and sustainability as critical considerations in product risk management.

With over 25 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, and strategic product risk management, I help businesses navigate the complexities of taking innovative products to global markets. From my early days as a design and industrialisation engineer to my focus on Lean Management, process improvement, global product compliance, and sustainable transition strategy, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the risks and challenges that can derail even the most promising projects.

I hold a B.E. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and an M.B.A. in International Industrial Management from Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with businesses across New Zealand, China, the Netherlands, and Germany, collaborating with teams to solve complex issues in product safety, quality, and efficiency.

Living in North Canterbury, New Zealand, I balance my professional life with my love for nature, often finding inspiration while watching the piwakawaka, korimako, and tauhou from my office window.
